strengthened his desire to advocate for those whose voices often go unheard. Ultimately, George felt a clear calling to step into ministry work that allows him to stand up for children in the foster system and help connect families with the life-changing mission of foster care. Motivated by Christ’s call to care for “the least of these,” George is passionate about mobilizing the Church across Somerset and Cambria Counties to open their hearts and homes to vulnerable children.
George is married to his wife, Jenny, and together they are raising a growing family. They have three biological sons, are expecting another baby, and are currently fostering two additional children. They have also been deeply impacted by other families who have wrapped around them with support, making it possible for them to foster. George is passionate about helping to build those same support networks so more families feel able to say “yes,” and more children can find safe, loving homes. In their free time, the Bivens family enjoys camping and spending time outdoors together.
Raised in Somerset County, George has a love for the community he now serves and a strong desire to see vulnerable children experience safety, stability, and hope. Before joining Keystone Family Alliance, he worked as an attorney and later with a community foundation, experiences that
