Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails. ~ Proverbs 19:21
So it often goes, Jordan’s passion for children and families grew and morphed through the winding and twisting turns of life. When she “grew up,” Jordan worked as an educator, both in the public and private
sectors. Through her teaching experience she came to realize what she most enjoyed was connecting with people, and went on to serve vocationally in outreach ministry to teen mothers and their children. In both roles, she saw firsthand the reaches and limitations of the child welfare system, and her heart broke wide-open.Originally from West Virginia, Jordan relocated to Pennsylvania after marrying her husband Ryan in 2017. Since then professionally she has served in various administrative capacities, but the work God has been doing within her is greater. Jordan has continued to pursue her love of learning through reading and studying, attempting to understand the depths of the human condition and by becoming trauma-informed. Specifically, she is a big proponent of family preservation and God’s heart for all His people. Her compassion for the vulnerable resonates in beautiful harmony with the vision and mission of Keystone Family Alliance. It can’t go without saying, Jordan and Ryan have a two year-old son Nash whom they absolutely adore, and are an active, licensed foster family awaiting their next placement. If you were to stop by their home at any time, it is likely you would be greeted by any number of animals, whom they also love as their own.
