2026 KeyFam Summit

2026 Summit Tagline.png

The KeyFam Summit is a 2-day conference that offers time to worship, connect, and imagine. It is designed to help you connect with others in the foster and adoption community, and to imagine what it would be like when we work together to create spaces where every child and family can thrive. The Summit includes general sessions as well as breakout sessions designed specifically for foster and adoptive parents, caseworkers, church leaders, KeyFam advocates, and those within the international child welfare community. Participants can delve into topics such as attachment and trauma-informed care, caring for a loved one in addiction, navigating the unique needs of children with ADHD, compassion fatigue and caring for the self, building teams of support for caregivers, and resilience strategies, and more!

Keystone Family Alliance recognizes that the registration fee can be a burden for some families. We also believe that our churches should support foster and adoptive families in their journeys. Because of this, KFA encourages you to contact your church to assist you with the registration fee. If you are unable to acquire church assistance, and you find the fees to be a burden, please contact your KeyFam County Coordinator. Not sure who your Coordinator is? Find them at keyfam.org/findmycounty.

FAQs

Will there be food at the event?

Yes! Coffee and light refreshments will available throughout the conference. KFA will also be providing a FREE lunch to all conference attendees on Saturday.

Is there childcare? Are children allowed to attend?

No. We ask that children (excluding infants) under the age of 13 not attend unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Summit is not designed for young children and childcare is not provided. Mature youth with a heart and vision for ministry are welcome.

Are there training certificates?

Yes! For those seeking training/credit hours, certificates can be made available for all workshops and sessions you participate in. Individuals should check with their local agencies to see if they will accept those hours.
