The mission of Union County Children and Youth Services is to protect the rights and welfare of the children in this Community, and to ensure that they have an opportunity for healthy growth and development, free from abuse and/or neglect. Union County Children and Youth Services will make every attempt to provide this service to the children under its jurisdiction while maintaining the preservation of the family. If, however, this is not possible, Union County Children and Youth Services will develop and employ a permanency plan that will consider what is in the best interest of the child(ren).
