Run Home Camps works directly with at risk children to provide them with an opportunity to experience acceptance, a loving family environment, and friendships like never before.

SWAN: State Wide Adoption Network

The Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) is a partnership among the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange, public and private adoption agencies, organizations, advocates, judges, the legal community, and foster and adoptive parents.

Somerset County Children and Youth Services

As mandated by the Public Welfare Code, this agency provides services to children, ages birth-18, aimed at maintaining and increasing family stability, keeping children with their families, and placing the child in a temporary home when necessary. Program staff works closely with private social service agencies, school districts, Drug & Alcohol Commission, Developmental and Behavioral Health Services, and law enforcement agencies. They are in contact with these agencies in referrals, service planning, counseling, protective and adoption services, shelter and foster care, and institutional placement.

Their Mission is to provide a continuum of quality services, which promote the emotional, behavioral, educational and physical development of children, adolescents, and their families.

Youth Advocate Program (YAP)

YAP provides young people, adults and their families with intensive support in their home, school and community through the YAPWrap model that blends best practices from research in wraparound, mentoring, and positive youth development.
