SWAN: State Wide Adoption Network

The Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) is a partnership among the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange, public and private adoption agencies, organizations, advocates, judges, the legal community, and foster and adoptive parents.

Safe Families

This national movement mobilizes church communities to provide support to families in temporary crisis. This faith-based, child-focused, volunteer-driven movement of compassion is led by local churches like yours.

Take Heart

Take Heart Counseling and Equine Assisted Therapy provides Licensed Professional Counseling services in the Reading, Lancaster, and Lebanon areas of Pennsylvania. We specialize in trauma-focused Equine Assisted Therapy and offer individual, family, group, and marriage counseling services, as well as corporate retreats and workshops. Horses are used to assist with many challenges faced by individuals and families.

Unlock Closet

Unlocked Closet is a nonprofit organization actively serving and supporting local foster and adoptive families. Our goal is to surround these children and families with love and share their burdens by providing free clothing, furniture, toiletries, and more. It is our hope to create, strengthen, and maintain a positive local foster/adoptive community.

Wee Talk

WeeTalk’s Speech Therapists provide supports to maximize your child’s ability to communicate and/or eat/swallow effectively and to enhance your family’s capacity to support your child’s development in everyday routines. WeeTalk knows that the most important piece of being a Speech Therapist in Early Intervention is remembering that everything we do during sessions focuses on the entire family and their daily lives.
