Big Brothers/Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the premise that one caring adult (Big) can make a significant difference in the life of a child (Little). Big Brothers Big Sisters enrolls children aged 5-16 years to match them in one-on-one mentoring relationships that center on doing quality-time activities together. Currently, the program has site-based and community-based options.

Blueprints

Blueprints provides safety, permanency, and well-being for youth and families. Their services incorporate a wide continuum of trauma informed care including in-home and community-based services, such as foster care, adoption, and independent living. Through multiple evidence-based practices, Blueprints preserves and strengthens families to remain together, provides safe and supportive family care when children are unable to remain with their biological parents, and assists with permanency to ensure the best outcomes for all children, youth, and families.

Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO)

The Christian Alliance for Orphans unites more than 200 respected organizations and 850+ church members. Our joint initiatives inspire and equip Christians to effectively live out the Bible’s call to care for orphans and vulnerable children.

Families United Network

Families United Network provides safety, permanency, and well-being for PA children and families through foster care and adoption

Fayette County Children & Youth Services

FCCYS believe that every child in Fayette County, PA has the right to grow up in a permanent family and make every reasonable effort to: assist those capable of becoming self-sufficient through skill building, opportunity enhancement, and family focused services; help meet the medical, social, and emotional needs of children and families unable to provide for themselves; help protect children from abuse, neglect, exploitation and endangerment; preserve the family unit and help families grow.

Justice Works

Justice Works provides support for biological parents looking to reunify with their children, and also provides a variey of social and life skills classes and activities for youth who are aging out/have aged out of foster care.

Lifespan Family Services

We equip their foster families with valuable resources that help the child thrive. Our goal is to leave a lifelong impact on a child who needs a caring family, and we encourage and respect all foster families.

Pennsylvania State Resource Family Association

PSRFA advocates for all those who care about children and their families. We work supportively with foster, adoptive, and kinship families, and with local foster parent associations and agencies who care for the children they serve.

Each year, thousands of children and families find their path through a variety of home, school and community-based services.

SWAN: State Wide Adoption Network

The Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) is a partnership among the Department of Human Services (DHS), the Pennsylvania Adoption Exchange, public and private adoption agencies, organizations, advocates, judges, the legal community, and foster and adoptive parents.
