Foster Closet

Blessings provides resources for abused and neglected children as they enter the foster system, post reunification with their biological families, and post-adoption with their forever families. We are honored to serve "the whole family" and the needs of the children in all stages of the child welfare system, and we do this through providing an Emergency Foster Closet in Blairsville, an Annual Back to School Event, Christmas Toy Drive, and annual retreat for foster and adoptive families.

Indiana County CYS ensures the protection of children from the damaging effects of abuse and neglect, facilitates services within the community, and empowers families to provide for their children in a safe environment and enable them to reach their full potential.

The CARE Center provides a safe, child-friendly environment for children who may have been sexually abused to tell their story. The CARE Center also promotes healthy families through; Family Preservation Services, Nurturing Parent Groups, Supervised Visitation, and Community Outreach and Education.

Music Therapy

We are a team of board-certified Music Therapists. We work with infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents. Music Therapy uses strategies that may involve singing, playing instruments, listening to music, etc. to work on goals that are uniquely created for each individual. If your child has a behavioral health diagnosis, they may qualify for music therapy services at NO COST to your family.

Cherry Blossom Vacations was founded in 2021 to gift a vacation home stay to adoptive, foster, and families of children with a disability. When a family vacations in a Cherry Blossom vacation home, they will experience a time of fun, rest, and relaxation that can be difficult for these families to find in the stress of everyday life.

Equine Therapy/Therapeutic Riding

Green Meadow Farm is a privately owned, non-profit created specifically to help children and youth overcome struggles produced by trauma and emotional difficulties. Individualized mentoring opportunities are provided free of charge. Our hope is that through the interaction with horses and farm life they can experience healing in God's love.

Growing Minds works closely with psychologists who determine the true cause of learning issues through cognitive and achievement testing, in order to get to the bottom of learning struggles, to provide a long-term solution in about 6 months. A brain-training program is built to target improvement of student's cognitive weaknesses. Our goal is to create independent learners/readers.
